Blue Mountain Project- an eco-friendly food delivery chain

Meituan Waimai introduced the “Blue Mountain Project ”in 2017, pledging to collaborate with additional partners to address environmental issues within the food delivery industry. After more than three years of ongoing progress, the Blue Mountain Project has transitioned from being solely platform-focused to establishing a centralized collaboration among upstream and downstream enterprises in building a sustainable supply chain. It has evolved from small-scale pilot partnerships to forming extensive alliances with partners to drive research and exploration of eco-friendly packaging materials for takeaways. Furthermore, it has shifted from single-function guidance to platform leadership, gradually establishing a comprehensive environmental protection ecosystem for the takeaway industry.
