This orange is the warm light that blankets the earth—a warmth without boundaries. Like the rising sun, it gently illuminates every corner, symbolizing equality, hope, and the promise of light accessible to all.

Visual Expression: Bathed in Orange Sunlight, Equality for All

The dome of the hall resembles a giant sun, casting warmth evenly across every seat. No hierarchy, no distance—every person is equally seen, respected, and illuminated.

Image Story: Room XIX of the UN Human Rights Council, Geneva

This is a space designed for inclusion. With 60% wheelchair-accessible seating, the world's first sign language interpretation booth, and a concentric layout without hierarchy, it declares in architectural language: in the sustainable development agenda, no one should be left behind.

What We Hope For:

Development should not be a feast for the few, but a right for all. We look forward to more corporate power—using technology to bridge the digital divide, using innovative models to empower rural revitalization, and letting the light of education, healthcare, and opportunity reach every corner that is too often forgotten. May the seeds of inclusion, planted in the soil of equity, grow a future shared by all.

Category Positioning

"Inclusive Growth" is the core value of sustainable development.

On the journey toward sustainability, uneven development and unequal opportunity remain common challenges. Whether defined by geography, age, gender, or physical ability, visible gaps persist in people's access to resources, participation in development, and ability to share in its benefits.

Since its launch in 2020, the "GoldenKey – SDG Solutions" has consistently focused on the topic of "Inclusive Growth," dedicated to gathering practical and impactful innovative solutions that ensure development benefits everyone and makes society more inclusive.

This category focuses on leveraging new technologies and approaches to empower sustainable development in underserved regions, promoting equitable access to education, healthcare, employment, and other public services, and empowering vulnerable groups. It advocates people-centered, inclusive governance models and business practices that foster multicultural coexistence and social harmony.

Priority Areas: What Changes We're Looking For in 2026

Aligned with China's current social development priorities and global sustainability frontier issues, the 2026 GoldenKey "Inclusive Growth" category invites your contributions in the following four key directions:

1. Building Barrier-Free Environments to Bridge the Digital Divide

Addressing obstacles faced by the elderly and people with disabilities in accessing information and public services—removing digital barriers to enhance convenience and participation.

We look forward to more thoughtful age-friendly innovation services; accessible solutions for the visually and hearing impaired; barrier-free design upgrades for public service venues, and those help vulnerable groups adapt to digital life.

2. Advancing Sustainability Education and Awareness

Targeting all age groups, dedicated to enhancing society-wide awareness of sustainable development and building the capacity to translate awareness into action.

We look forward to more sustainability curricula tailored for youth; public outreach on low-carbon lifestyles; sustainability skills training in rural areas and those helping companies build inclusive workplace cultures.

3. Innovative Age-Friendly Solutions and Services for New Employment Groups

Responding to demographic shifts and changing employment patterns—providing support and empowerment for new needs.

We prefer solutions that build child-friendly communities; rights protection and care for delivery riders, ride-hailing drivers, new farmers, and other new-format workers; upgraded senior services; employment support and skills training for low-income groups.

4. Empowering Women Through Technology

Addressing inequalities faced by women in the digital age—enhancing their capacity, opportunities, and efficiency in participating in economic and social development.

Solutions to improve women's scientific literacy; promote the growth of women in STEM; offer resource platforms supporting women entrepreneurs; and build gender-inclusive technology governance systems, are given higher priority.

Category-Specific Evaluation Criteria: How We Measure Valuable Solutions

"Inclusive Growth" is the most human-centered category among all GoldenKey categories. We look forward to solutions that align with the above directions and the GoldenKey AMIVE criteria—telling a compelling story of solving real problems and demonstrating irreplaceable value.

"Authentic" — Inclusive by Design

Was the solution designed to include the voices of diverse groups from the very beginning? Were target beneficiaries involved in the co-creation process? We look for solutions that are "bottom-up" and responsive—not one-way giving.

"Tangible" — Empowerment Outcomes

Has the project tangibly enhanced beneficiaries' capacity to thrive? Has it opened new doors for their participation in social and economic activities? Has it truly improved their living conditions and prospects? We value lasting, measurable change—not one-off assistance.

"Sustainable" — Long-Term Mechanisms

Has the project established robust, viable long-term operating mechanisms? Does it have the capacity for self-sustaining or multi-stakeholder support networks? We look for solutions that create enduring value for target groups—not short-term campaigns.

【Case Example】

Alibaba Health "Care Campaign for Lemon Babies" — 2025 GoldenKey Annual Best Solution in the "Well-being for All" Category

Using business logic to deliver public good; applying supply chain innovation to solve urgent social needs—ensuring "Lemon Babies" are truly seen and supported.

▶ Accuracy

Precisely identified the core challenges for children with inherited metabolic rare diseases: specialized formula "unavailable, unaffordable, and unstable"—a life-threatening supply gap. Used real patient demand data to quantify the severity.

▶ Match

Applied a “supply-by-demand”  approach, leveraging Alibaba's supply chain capabilities to aggregate patient demand and drive targeted production; established a "company donation + charity support + family contribution" multi-party co-payment mechanism, directly addressing both supply and affordability challenges.

▶ Innovation

Created a "C2M demand-driven production" model for rare disease formula—an industry first; integrated cross-border procurement, medical assistance, and early screening partnerships into a comprehensive solution, breaking through the bottleneck of unmet needs in the rare disease sector.

▶ Value

Secured stable "life-saving" formula supply while reducing family financial burdens; generated real-world evidence data, filling industry gaps; established a new model for corporate participation in public welfare.

▶ Evaluation

Raised public awareness of rare disease communities; expanded coverage from 2 to 17 inherited metabolic rare diseases, with a replicable model.
